Hypotheses

After reading the background information in the packet, we hypothesized that if the water is colder, then the dissolved oxygen reading would be higher.  Colder water is able to hold in more oxygen than warmer water pure unit of water. 
We also hypothesized that if more light is let in, then the dissolved oxygen reading would be higher.  With more light comes more photosynthesis. Photosynthesis releases air thus increasing dissolved oxygen in water
